Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using eMediaLinks (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What we are, and what we are not

eMediaLinks is a marketplace and information platform. We connect buyers with listings published by independent licensed real estate agents. We are not a real estate brokerage, we do not represent buyers or sellers in transactions, and we do not give legal, financial, tax, or immigration advice.

All transactions, contracts, and communications regarding property happen directly between you and the listing agent. eMediaLinks is not a party to those transactions.

3. Listing accuracy

Listing data on eMediaLinks comes from licensed agents, MLS feeds, and partner sources. We make reasonable efforts to verify listings (and badge them as "MLS Verified" where applicable) but we do not guarantee accuracy or current availability. Always confirm details with the listing agent before relying on them.

Property prices may be displayed in CNY for convenience. Conversion rates are indicative and update daily. The contractual price is always in the property's local currency as specified by the listing agent.

4. Agent obligations

Agents using our platform agree to:

• Hold a current real estate license in the jurisdiction(s) where they operate.
• Only list properties they are legally authorised to market.
• Respond to buyer enquiries in a reasonable timeframe.
• Keep listings up to date and remove sold/withdrawn properties promptly.
• Not engage in misleading or deceptive marketing.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate agent accounts that violate these obligations or generate buyer complaints.

5. Buyer obligations

You agree to:

• Use the Service for genuine property search purposes only.
• Not scrape, copy, or republish listing data without written permission.
• Not impersonate any person or use false information.
• Not use automated tools to access the Service in ways that exceed normal browsing.

6. Marketing packages

Agents may purchase Weibo, Sina, and other marketing packages to promote their listings to Chinese buyers. Packages are delivered for the duration purchased. Refunds are at our discretion and require written request within 14 days of purchase. Packages are non-transferable.

7. Intellectual property

The eMediaLinks brand, AI-generated property descriptions, search algorithms, and design are owned by Geysir Ltd. Listing photos and descriptions belong to the listing agent or their source MLS. You may not republish content from this site without permission.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is". We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that listings are accurate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

9. Limitation of liability

eMediaLinks, Geysir Ltd, and PropTexx are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service or from any property transaction you enter into with an agent. Our total liability is capped at the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except where local consumer protection law in your jurisdiction grants you stronger rights, in which case those rights are not affected. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England, except where local law requires otherwise.
