Following an untimely retrenchment in June 2014, at the tender age of 62, I spent 11 months trying to regain employment without success. A friend suggested that I try working as an estate agent and, having nothing to lose, I interviewed with Leapfrog and was accepted as an Intern Estate Agent. Imagine being a rookie at my age and imagine my joy at being awarded Icebreaker (Rookie) of the year twelve months later?

Since day one I have received a lot of support and encouragement from management and colleagues alike and found myself doing work that is tough and demanding but also extremely enjoyable. Ongoing training ensures that I am fully equipped to deal with changing markets and legislation.

After 23 months with Leapfrog I decided to move on. I will always be grateful to Michelle and the team who gave me an opportunity when I thought that there was none and helped me achieve successes.

At Chas Everitt I was able to continue service to the community of Edenglen full and sectional title properties but felt the need for more advanced technical systems and agent support which I found on joining Keller Williams Clockwork.

Four years at Clockwork taught me a lot and I was able to serve on the Associate Leadership Council (ALC), a committee that managed charity efforts and assisted agents with issues that they could not take directly to Leadership. Leaving Clockwork was not easy and I will always remember the efforts of Di and Deon to make agents feel at home but my search for something better drove me on.

In my search for better deals and systems I joined eXp in April 2024. This story is yet to be written.

I bring the following qualities to my clients, Sellers and Buyers alike:

Passion – I am enthusiastic about the work I do and about meeting people and I take pride in giving the best honest and professional service that I can offer.

Dedication – I am committed to what I do be it the mundane task of tele-canvassing or the excitement of taking and negotiating offers.

Professionalism – I follow the guidelines set in the codes of conduct that govern estate agents, behave with dignity and show my clients the respect that they deserve.
