Hello, I'm Majdel! For over a decade, I've called Dubai my home. I am Director of Operations & Legal at RealTrust Conveyancing & Escrow Services, a company dedicated to providing seamless, digitized and efficient real estate transaction solutions. I am also an instructor at ThinkProp, where I teach the real estate broker licensing courses for RERA (Dubai) and ADREC (Abu Dhabi) and provide training on anti-money laundering (AML) for the UAE real estate sector. Additionally, I am an advisory board member for Baytukum , a pioneering real estate crowdfunding platform. My journey in UAE began at the Dubai Land Department, where I served as both a RERA course instructor and legal advisor for the Dubai Real Estate Institute. I went on to become the Head of Real Estate at a law firm and Vice President for Legal Affairs at the Middle East Real Estate Inspection Association. My expertise has led me to speak at various industry events, such as Cityscape Global and the International Property Show, and I've been a featured guest on the Dubai Eye Business Breakfast radio show. I also contributed regularly to Gulf News’ Property Weekly. Prior to my 20-year legal career, I was a Realtor in Chicago selling residential real estate and later became a commercial broker while practicing real estate and business law. You can say I’m married to real estate, as my husband is also a broker. Beyond my professional roles, I am a certified leadership speaker and trainer and have held leadership and board positions in various non-profit organizations and have been an appointed official for the City of Chicago.
